This smoky scotch drink is exactly what you need to warm up fast when it’s freezing outside. Adapted from Bon Appetit.
Ingredients: Laphroaig smoky scotch, 2 ounces blended Scotch (Johnnie Walker Black), juice from half a lemon, 1 ounce St. Germain elderflower liqueur.
The original recipe calls for rinsing the inside of your glass with the Laphroaig scotch, but I just added about 1/2 an ounce to an ice-filled cocktail shaker. The important thing to keep in mind is that you can definitely overdo it with the strong peat flavor, so just use a splash.
Add the lemon juice, Johnnie Walker Black and St. Germain. Shake and strain into an old fashioned glass.
